Make my 300ex faster then a warrior

I'm tired of my buddy's piped warrior pulling away from me in 6th gear in a drag race! Whats some easy upgrades to make my 300 faster ... I have a 4' supertrapp pipe, KN filter ,14 tooth front sprocket and just got performance CDI box....any advise welcome

try a new cam, port and polish, and a .80 bore- high compression piston.

Also, put a 36 tooth rear sprocket on.

What does port and polish do for the bike?

you port and polish the heads for better gas flow and smoother air and fuel mixture..

port/polish makes the fuel and air move easier, freeing up a lot of power. also youll need some tall gearing to match his top speed...

The 300 is outgunned by the Warrior due to cubes and the extra gear.... bottom line, anybody can go fast in the flats and straights. Get your buddy in the tight woods and tell him bye-bye! :D

ya i was gonna say unless u set up a long drag,u should burn him, ive beaten many warriors on my dads 300ex they dont start to catch up til way after 150 yards

I USED TO HAVE A 300EX AND I TOOK THE AIR BOX LID OFF PUT A 400EX CARB WITH A UNI FILTER AND A JET KIT FOR THE CARB. I ALWAYS TOASTED MY BUDDIES PIPED WARRIOR. EVEN WHEN I HIT 5TH AND HE HIT 6TH I STILL HAD HIM ON THE ROAD.

what about a blaster with just an lrd pipe and silencer

my 300ex is in the shop getting a hmf slipon and its airbox lid is removed with a k and n and a dyno jet... its got 22 inch klaws all around i was thinking a 14 tooth but im probably getting some 20 inch rears b4 all the mods i got clocked at 61
