I'm going for a HMF slip-on, and wanted to know wich jets to get, I ride at sea level mostly, and will use a UNI filter with those UNI air vents in the airbox so a little more air should be getting into my carb

..I was thinking this:
Pilot Jet: #42
Main Jet: #158
Needle Jet: No Idea żż??

Thanks A LOT

these jettings sound good i live in denham springs, lousiana and have a pro circuit slip on with a k&n filter, with and outerwear, and 6, 1 inch holes drilled in my airbox and a 158 is what i use so you should be good

that sounds pretty close. i would try out that 155 in the hot summer months. in the winter, a 158 may be good. when you say needle jet, do you actually mean jet needle?? the needle jet is a little jet about the size of a tic tac. the "needle" is actually called a jet needle. i would leave the clip in the stock position in summer at first. if your going to move the clip down to the 4th position, do it in winter. you can try it year round but you may get better throttle response with it in the 3rd position since the bike will be running a bit leaner. however, with it in the 3rd position your headers may glow at night. good luck

cals400ex I guess I meant jet needle hehe  ..I've read many of your posts and without a doubt you know a lot about atv's.. I was wondering, is there a #156 main jet, or I'm just dreaming?

no. with keihin jets you go from 155 to 158. i assume your not using dynojets?? these jets are measured differently than keihin jets. so a 155 keihin does NOT equal a 155 dynojet.

No, I'm talking about keihin jets so it's all fine.
Thanks cals400ex ;)

you basically need to buy the individual jets. i just bought them all seperate and they have added up. i currently have about 18 mainjets in my box. no i don't need them all but it is nice to have them if i swap carbs or modify the bike, etc. i know at my dealership you can order them in a pack of 5 different jets. i would just order a handful from C&D.
