This kind of attack isn't even a threat anymore. Russia dismantled over 50% of their warheads. Sure they still have 12,000 or so left, but their a democracy now and they are no longer a part of the vanquished Soviet Union. I say vanquished because even though we didn't actually fight them, we did the next best thing and beat them politically and economically. China only has 400 warheads and less than 100 are capable of hitting the continentel United States. Pakistan can't reach us, nor India. Great Brittian only has a couple hundred, but they aren't a threat. Same with France. Israel isn't a threat at all either. What if Iran could reach us with a bomb. Or even worse North Korea. I would say North Korea would be the worst country to get ahold of nukes. Here's why. All of our old enemies are gone. The soviet union is no more, germany is a completely different country, Japan is the same way. But one country we lost tens of thousand of troops fighting against is still virtually the same. North Korea. The leader of North Korea that tried to reunite all of korea under his power was Kim Il sung. He killed untold numbers of his own countrymen and tens of thousands of american troops before he was pushed back to the north. Well, it's his son that sits in control in North Korea now. People who have been fortunate enough to escape from North Korea have said there are many, many prisons in North korea that hold "political prisioners". Basically if you say something negative about kim jong il your going to be killed or sent to a prison. Not only that, but your whole family is going to suffer the same treatment. Imagine this, you tell a co worker that you think President Bush is a moron. That night you come home to find your whole family has killed or taken away to a prison and your about to join them. We all know that kind of thing doesn't happen here, but in North Korea it happens all the time. What sucks is the fact that North Korea has one of the best ground armies in the world and they would most likely be backed up by china which has the largest army in the world. If china gets more nukes and North Korea gets a decent amount of nukes they become a big threat. Man I'm bored, I'm out yo! Oh yeah, anyone interested in nuclea anihilation should check out some of the 80's movies dealing with that subject. The day after, testament, by dawns early light, and defcon 4 just to name a few.
