does the 400ex, stock, pull pretty hard through out the low and mid ranges? That, to me, is the most fun part. Replies, please!

Have you ever clocked your best 0-50 or 1/8mile runs? if so what are your bests?!

a stock 400 will run 1/8 in the 9 second range or low 10's

what size sprocket would you use for better acceleration and trail riding, and what would it top out at?

Doesn't the stock 400 top out around 60-65mph?

i'm getting a 14tooth and i drag race and climb hills and yea i think it tops out at about 65 mph stock

I have a piped and big bore (440) 400ex and it deffinatly pulls hard. I am ordering a cam this week because I have heard it makes a huge difference on top of that. The stock 400ex does pull strong and is a blast to ride. I bought mine all stock and built it up so I know how they run with different mods. More power the better.:D

I am used to Honda trx300 utility quads but I just was interested in finding out how much sport atv's accelerate.:D
