View Full Version : How much oil does a Blaster take?

Just like it says .. How much oil. Just a standard oil change I couldnt find it stamped on the engine anywhere,

shouldnt be much more than say a quart and a half... just put it in slowly until it starts coming up on the dipstick is what i do...

hey the blaster holds 650ml or 700ml if the engine has jjst been torn down it says how much it holds right behind the fill plug pretty much hope this helps:)

I put 24 oz. in my sons Blaster after a change and it's right in the middle/top of the "sight glass".

my wifes blaster is a 02, it has a sight glass that has upper and lower lines that you keep the fluid inbetween, after a oil change it usually holds about one and a half qts.

My Blaster is old school i dont think it has a window. But I did see some numbers that said 650 cm or something, but I'll put in a quart and a half I only have 75% of a quart right now. thanks guys

i ran my old blaster for a year and a half with just 1 quart oil changes.

650ml if you just drain it. 700ml if you take the cover off, like when you do the oil injection block off

oh and yes it is stamped on the side somewhere. i remember.

Nakomis, 650cc IS 3/4 of a quart, don't put 1.5 quarts in there! LOL

my blaster is from the very first year it came out and yes it does have the eye glass thing its by your foot peg on the clutch side.
just dump oil in till its between the marks
