Cannondale Moto or YFZ 450

I'm looking at buying a new quad and i was wondering what would be better for MX. I know the moto is ready out of the box but its not as reliable as the YFZ. Also can you race the Moto in production class?

I am willing to bet the new ATK is more reliable since they took over.

It's a production based quad so I see why you can't race it in Pro Prod.

I like the c-dale since i wont have to put anyhing on it to race but its a 2002 and im not sure if any updates are done or not. And the cranks arent balanced right.

02s were supposed to be the most reliable models.

you're in NW pa. there's champion motorsports, diamond racing, maz is down the road a couple hrs. timbomoose on www.cannondaleriders.com is in erie and is doing some amazing stuff involving reliability and increased displacement and more power. i think theres 10, give or take, dales that ride at majestic trails. parts are not an issue.

the yfz isn't without it's share of problems either. every day more problems surface on the trx also. every bike has issues. see if you can ride both the yfz and the dale and decide which is more comfortable to you.

yep these guys said it best, ride both and see which you like more.. i actually liked my stock yfz more than my modded cannondale just how it was much easier to move aroudn on it.. the ergonomics..

this is not the same when you go 250R conversion on the dale tho, that machine is just awesome to ride!:eek2:

moto will pull and have more power out of the box..but the yfz is right up there.. its a toss up, your choice... plenty of places to get parts for both..i can get parts for my dale just as fast as i can for my yfz..:eek:

this is true, i can get parts faster for my dale then i could for my EX any day, plus its easier to technical advice for
