s10, blown bottom end?!

Yeah the truck i got 2 months ago, a 1995 chevy s10 zr2 with 126,000 miles. I heard a little ticking noise for a little while and thought it might of just been a bolt loose or something little.. 3 days later i start it and it makes a huge thunking noise when i rev it up when i shift the gear. I went past an auto shop and i stopped there and the guy said my bottom end is blown. it lost all power also, runing like ****. anyone know how much this will cost someone with no money?:o :( :mad:

damn that sucks, my 1996 had some noise coming from the catalytic converter anyway i just dealt w/ it cause didnt want to pout money into it, anway it went away and about a month later it came back.. next day NO power at all, and wouldnt not rev past 3000.

anyway i take it in and it cost me 506 for a new converter and muffler... installed of course

i hate to guess how much yours will cost

i've got a 4.3 lower end setting int the bed of my truck as we speak block, crank, rods, and piston, come and get it and it's yours :o

if ya do all the work urself prolly 3-400$ a garage prolly 2500$==rebuilt motor!!
