my electric start doesnt work and ppl told me to check the fuses but i only found one fuse and i dont know how it comes out??? and the battery connections are fine,,, what is my problem?? thanx

For a 400ex.....

There is only one regular fuse, there may be 'fusible links' though.....

In front of the battery there is a white cap, remove that and you will see two fuses. The one in the back and sitting higher is the in use fuse, the one in front is the spare. Pliers are helpful for removing the fuse.

If the fuse is still good there might be a loose connection at the selenoid. The contraption just below the fuse. It should have a red boot and a black boot covering different connections. Check these for tightness.
