Need everyones opnion..

Well..i've been giving this serious though...i've pretty much outgrown my 300ex...its just too small for me...nobody seemed intrested in buying..so i was thinking about parting it out...well..i was wondering what you guys think i could get for it if i parted it out..i'd keep the grabbar..killswitch..bumper..and handlebars and tamers and rims for sure..maybe a few other little things...but everything else would go..the motors like new..just rebuilt..not even broke in i have another set of tires and rims..and i got more stuff..well..here is my plan....i want to build a custom quad...a one of a kind one...so i want to put a yz250f motor in a 400ex frame for mx racing...so what do you guys think of this?..what class would i race if i wanted to race it?..give me every little bit of info you can think of...i want everyones opnion..so...lets hear it..thank you! :)

if u outgrown it.. the best thing would be 2 get a bigger bike.. and what is done to the motor.. i might need a back up motor for next season:)

11:1 high compression piston..20 over...port and polished.


i'm almost 100% positive that the yz250f motor in the 400 frame would walk all over a 400. and many more quads..

i would not part it out.. i dont think you would ever get eonough and it is a BIG hassle, trust me..

a yz250f motor in an aftermarket YZ426 chassis. ex or r geometry would be pimp.. you cold run it in the 300ex class and still be very competitive in the open classes... problem is finding a yz250f motor!!! doubt you will find just a motor... but.... i have the whole bike, 01 250f, that i would even work out a trade on your 300ex...

I'd keep trying to sell it and look for a bigger bike to move on.

Part out as many aftermarket parts as you can, then sell the 300ex as stock as you can get it...

I like the idea of the 250f motor with a quad frame...:eek2:

see i'd like to buy a new quad..but i hate not feeling like its really mine...i had to rip my quad completely down and customize it so many times untill i felt satisfied with it. so i'd really like to build this quad..
