250x and 300ex stock headpipes are the same. I have read that you can use a WB headpipe with any slip on because it claims to work with the stock silencer also.

there are 2 different aftermarket big head pipes , one has a shorter bend "doesn't go around the frame" the longer bend goes around the frame, both fit 250's and 300's,

ok. here is my situation. my stock muffler and header is bent (dont ask). so i bought the one aqnd only, the best. a blue powdercoated hmf slip on. i needed a header so i didnt want to put the stock one back on so this is how i c it. hmf makes their silencer with the same pipe routing as stock but dont make a header. so white brothers slip ons have the same routing as the stock muffler also to fit on the stock header so if the white brothers header will fit their e-series slip on then their header has to fit my hmf. right??

it "should fit" if the muffler is for a 250/300, the bigger aftermarket head pipes are the same size as the "bushing" on the end of the stock head pipe "where the muffler attaches",
