I would say get new a-arms, don't cut the spring. Or sell them and get some Elkas:D

you have to get the conversion thing(you can get one off of e-bay) and I have heard its not such a good thing to do, and just get 300ex a-arms. Search around...there is a REALLY good thread on this subject.

it takes the preload off the shocks and it sits lower.

if the spiiners are all the way down, move them up to lower the quad. you want about 9 inches of frame clearance

oo ya i get what ur sayin the spinners are on the bottmo of these shocks so they r as loose as they get i have tryed it but thanks n e wayz but will they sag through time do u think ?

ya..raise the "spinners" up more torwards the top if you want it to sit lower. that should solve your problem eh?

if the spinners are all the way on the bottom, they are putting as much force as possible on the springs, making them stiffer as well as raising the ride hieght. you need to bring the spinner towards the top of the shock to releive some of that force wich will lower the quad and also make the shocks softer.

if the shocks are set up for your wieght, adjust the spinners until the frame has from 8.5 to 10 inches of clearance at the front most motor mount (personaly i like 8.5 to 8.75 inches of clearance) once you have the correct ride height, if the shocks feel a little soft, you can tighten the spinners back up a few turns at a time. you should bottom out the shocks very slightly on the biggest jump on the mx track (if you got these to ride mx) or 1 or twice a lap on a xc course

ya they soak up the bigger jumps i have on my track 50 foot table top its great landing but see my spiiners are at the bottom of the of the shocks so they r loosened all the way my shocks r the oposite of what u have but ya i will see if i can post some pics but in all the seem to ride nice though
