I can't remeber the brand but the guy has them on ebay all the time. I think they're $65 it really comes in handy on long rides.

JMO but...why would you get a 250ex and try to trick it out when you could buy a blaster for cheaper and mod it sooooooo easily and they are faster

i dont meen to pick and its your money but just my thoughts

hondas are probably the most relyable bikes out,and four stroke
is a lot better for a great all around atv!

Simply because of reliabilty. If I would have wanted to rebuild the engine every couple of months I would have gotten a Blaster not that they are bad bikes but the extra speed and cheaper initial cost doesn't make up the difference in maintenance in my book. Mine has 700+ hard riding miles on it with nothing more than routine maintenance......I'm just now getting ready for the first set of front brakes. Soon this one is gonna get pushed to the back of the garage to make room for an '05 Black 450r :D

i cut my plastics last night & im about 3/4 of the way done w/ sanding. they look so sick, im goin to buy a camra tomorrow & take pics soon so maybe my next weekend ill have pics of it.

does any body have a twist throttle on thier 250's? or am i the only 1.

trX250eXmXr28, i understand 270ex but just a question...how could u get 270CC's when the bike is 229cc's stock, and all u added was an exhaust and a bore kit when them together add maybe 25-30 cc's? just a thought

my dad and i were joking around at the dunes today about how bad *** it would be to maybe get a 400ex motor and put in the ol' 250.

lots of custom parts would need to be mad but i dont think its impossible

nobody say "just buy a 400" or flame , its just an idea.

you would under stand if you saw one of his 1st post the 250 that was in the pic he showed us was red and had elka shocks and a bunch of other stuff and we tried to tell him that they werent elka shocks and he said they were hiden under the covers. if you would have saw that then you would understand half the stuff he says we just learned to live with it and now the pic of his quad is yellow not red thats different:rolleyes:
