I was wondering if 400ex a-arms would bolt up to a 300ex?

OK there are tons of threads on this and you can do a search using the terms in your subject.
But any way a long story short; yes they fit but you need a relocator touse 400 shocks or have some custom ones made or buy them used.
Next lots of people have done this and love it and some swear by it.
Next the real consensus is that it is an unsafe and poor quality conversion.
So read on my friend and learn on your own.
And welcome to the site.;)

man, pleasepleaseplease search! there are 100+ threads on this...

Jeff and bradley say its a bad idea. I think its just fine. I run 400ex +2 a-arms, 400ex spindles, and custom length TCS shocks to fit the conversion without a relocator....very nice set-up...

get a good set of yamaha banshee shocks off e-bay or somewhere so ya dont have to pay alot.i have run this setup for the past 4yrs and have had no problem.if ya use 400ex or 250r ya have to use shock relocators whick have to be welded on.if ya do it make sure a good welder does it. im new to exriders

you dont have to weld a relocator on, it bolts on..
