Do you need to harden the rockers for the stg 1 cam? It will go in a 406ex. Also if anyone has bored there stock cab, does it make a difference? Thanks.

hot cams are DROP IN CAMS. you don't need anything, unless you want to feel safer with the stage 2, and get the stiffer valve springs. Yes the stock bored carb makes a difference. how much, I will find out when mine gets here;)

Stage 1 vs stage 2 depends on the type of riding you do. If you do mostly trail riding or xc type racing you might want the stage 1 for bottom end. If you are a duner or mx you might want the stage 2 for more top end power. Stiffer valve springs or hardened rockers are not needed. But the stiffer valve springs would be a big plus at if you have the money and time during the rebuild.
