any history on 300ex swingarms "twisting"?

picked up a used 300ex for my son for a good price. Thing is...it seems to have a twist in the frame, thowing off the geometry. After relentless hours of figuring out why, it looks as though the swinger is twisted...forcing the rear axle out of LEVEL. Is this a common thing with the 300's?

I can pick up the rear bar and raise the right tire 1.5 inches before the whole rear clears the ground.

im sure its possible...300ex swingarms are very weak...I think I went through 5 stockers before I broke down and bought a Burgard!
