trouble with swinger

do any of you know what the hell could be going on with my swinger
i have an 03 z400 and evry time i tighten the chain it loosens right up again
evrything is real tight and evrytime i take it out for like 1 min its loose again
its drive=ing me crazy anyone else have this problem

sounds like the carrier needs new bearings

carrier has pretty new bearings in it but if the swinger needs new ones would it keep loosening the chain like that?

Sometimes the two bolst on the back of the swingers on the 03's that adjust and hold the chain tension have a tendacy to pull out of the carrier when under acceleration force. That enables the bearing carrier to be pulled foward no matter how tight the 4 pinch bolts are, I even believe suzuki did some warranty issues on this also.

really? because thats exactly what happened,the bolts pulled right out of the carrier and i had to easy out the broken ones and replace them but still no luck
