Will a 400ex fit in back of X-Treme s-10???

I am looking for a truck, I want a x-treme series s-10 but i dont know if my 400ex will fit in it, because of the x-treme having a stepside bed. If anyone has one and knows, or has seen a 300ex or 400 in a x-treme, lemme know lol...thanks.

i got one(old 400ex) in once but then had to strech out the sides of the bed to get it out. so in other words dont get it for putting ur quad in cause the bed is as big as a trunk of grand marquee!:cool:

I'd say buy the truck and put a hitch on it. For around $500 you can pick up a small one place trailer perfect for towing a quad. If you want to get creative, have the license plate flip down to hide the receiver.

a guy i used to know built a platform that sits atop his bed that has about an inch of clearance so it doesnt scratch the bed when its in place. but anyway.. i thought it was an excellent idea cause it left room for everything he would need for a longer trip.. im not sure if the extremes have the holes in the bed for a rack though so it might be kinda tough w/ an extreme

i find myself needing more room for anything other than a day trip cause ive got a regular s10. barely enough room for the 400, planks and 2 gas cans andmy riding gear (i have to put it in the cab)

dag, that was what i thought because i remember loading my 400 onto my dads regular bed 89 s-10 and how it was, but i didnt know about the widths of the newer ones, i will probably have to get a regular style s-10 because i dont like having to have a trailer, and i want to be able to take my quad around with me and show it off a lil haha, i might just get a regular bed s-10, do a 5" drop on it, put some 17s on there and slap my company logo "blindside customs" on the back glass and roll with it lol

i own and extreme and a 400ex and it does fit but mine is sungle cab

i have a single cab extreme.. mine fits in it and i have a 300ex:D

a 400 will fit in the strait beds, i know for a fact, ive had ricos back there. the flareside xtremes may be a different story.

thats what i was asking about, the s10s with a stepside bed, i know they fit in a normal bed but the ones that are more narrow idk if they will and thats why i was asking, but i had been told that all xtreme series s10s were stepsides, last night i found out that some are regular beds...YESS! im currently hunting one lol, im sellin my spare car "a 98 dodge neon" and gettin a xtreme

around here, the regu;ar beds seem to be more common. good luck finding one!
