I got a 2004 450R Thursday. I feel I got a good deal. $5,950 OTD with the HRC KIT (still in box) for free. I'm pleased with the machine so far, but am gonna drop a tooth on the front for trail riding. What kind of increase should I expect from installing the HRC kit? Any other tips or advice?

TIA
Eric

Agreed. When you hit about 6,000 rpm's, hold on. I have the same set up with an LRD Pro series full exhaust. The thing rips. Took me a while to get it jetted right but that's another story. It's well worth the money.

the atv magazines pretty much said it sucked, but they weren't using an aftermarket exhaust. just that gay hrc end cap that probably produces the same power as removing your SA. this is a good site for info and you can usually trust about 85% of what you read. mags are only good for advertisements. drop it in and have fun!!!

you'll dig it -- wakes it up pretty good, and I really like how they changed up the airbox
