i was reading a forum it was about advancing your timming on a yfz 450 i dont understand how you could do this and doing it without harming your engine, but im running right now a 400ex and i was wonderring if it was possible to advance your timming and how would you do so without harming your engine?

You have 2 options: 1: You could just buy a sparks timing advance key, which is about 20 bucks, and 2: The GT Thunder CDi box. They both advance your timing 6 degrees and don't harm the engine.

you forgot the third option, you can also buy an adjustable cam sprocket
