DAMN KTM makes a 550cc 2 stroke!? I thought thier biggest engine was a 520 4 stroke.

biggest 2 stroke is KTM380. I want to do it because im from Europe, Poland and i think that will be problem with parts to modified honda 250r engine. KTM engine has about 65KM, How much KM honda has?

Actually you would be incorrect. In the late 90's KTM had a KTM550 2 stroke motor in the MXC, and EXC models. I could hunt down the Dirt Rider magazine articles if I really needed to, but I know I'm right on this one....... ;) I know they had it in 95, and I believe they even had it later in the 90's than that, but I know it was up until atleast 95'. It'd be an AWSOME motor for a quad. ;)

I remember they made a KTM360 for a while, but I just checked out their website, and the biggest 2 stroke I can find is the 300exc model.... They may make a 380 overseas....? I imagine the 380 is just an overbored version of the older 360. Sounds like it'd be a fun project, but if it were me I'd find a 550 and have one NASTY quad. ;) Hope you find the motor your looking for.;)

In Poland my frien is KTM dealer and he says that KTM produce 380 2 stroke...I call him tomorow and check it once again
