break up

I just installed my new supertrapp race core exhaust system. I lowered the clip one notch installed a #158 main . Here's my problem ,when I rev it up to full throttle I can't tell if I 'm hitting the rev limiter or I'm to rich . It seems to stop reving and sound like its breaking up just a little? What do you guys think? Oh yeah I've got the air box lid off. Thank's 9300EX:(

Try bumping the main up one more size. When my bike was mostly stock (Wb e-series pipe, and air box lid off) I ran a 162 main jet and I tried the 165 and it also worked well but the 162 was the best.

Well I fouled the plug out. I forgot to mention I've got 14 of the 18 disc's installed. I've got a 162 and 165 main I can try I'll try the 162 now with a fresh plug boy this can be frustrating. I just don't want to run it lean!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well 165 was to rich I'm back to the 158 and all 18 disc's installed. I just can't tell if it's the rev limiter or a to rich break up at the top of the rpm band just doesen't sound right like a slight miss. any ideas?:(

Try a full throttle test with the airbox lid on.
