bore and stroke

Got my hands on a complete crf cylinder, head and carb, all the wiring and whatever i need to convert to crf style, but does trx have the same stroke as the crf, just asking cause i dont want to drive and get it from my dealer unless i can fit the piston and cylinder from the crf on to the trx.

The bore and stroke are not the same between the two. You can look up the differences on Honda's website.

You may just need a spacer plate. From looking on thumper talk... I think? Some of the stroked dirt bikes run with a spacer plate.

Wouldn't it be easyer to buy one of the big bore kits?
