400ex stopped starting..i need your help

today i went riding and when i got home i went to start it a couple hours later. the nuetral light turned on lik usualy n wen i puished the start button it sounded lik something was spinning or buzzing near the battery. what does this mean? next weekend i have plans for rausche creek n i wanna fix this asap please help

i'd disconnect the battery, clean everything and make sure everything is looking OK just so youcan cancel that out...

so if there isnt any problems there youcan move on to otherpossiblities....

that buzzing is the silenoid, sounds to me you have a low battery, prolly need a new one

what if i charge it real good or pop start it? ne1 else have a say in this saying its the battery thanks michigan

Low battery, Loose connection, or your silenoid is going bad.....try tapping your silenoid on the side with a hammer or the end of a screw driver.......or cross it over and try starting it that way......

my did the same thing, i thought it was the starter relay swith (solenoid bottle), but it ended up just being a loose ground wire. So make sure u check all the connections.

MINE DID THE SAME THING TWO WEEKS AGO MINE WAS A DEAD BATTERY. HOW LONG HAVE YOU HAD THAT BATTERY? I ONLY HAD MINE FOR 7 MONTHS AND IT WENT BAD SO I HAD TO PUT A RECTIFIER (KEEPS THE BATTERY CHARGED)ON IT. THE RECTIFIERS ARE KNOWN TO GO OUT ON THE 400EX.
