if anyone is interested in a gasgas450 for mx or knows of anyone that wants one for mx then here is a chance to get one for less than new that is ready to race. this quad is legal to race in production class.
on top of all of the goodies that gasgas includes on these quads from the showroom i have added the following.
4/1 billet center douglas fronts with 19 mx holeshot tires with about 8 races on them. they bring the front down to exactly 50 inches and i did pass inspection when i rolled through.
18" mxr on douglas .190 one rim has dent but is still fine and holds air fine too.
custom aluminum battery/computer box - protects battery and fuel injection control comp. better than plastic stock one and it is raised to avoid bottoming on brake calliper.
2" shortened swingarm for better traction and cornering. it also has extra shock mount if you ever wanted to race TT and get rid of stock linkage. just have to remove airbox and put on a kn filter.
welded by professional drag car fabricator and it looks like stock.
all unneeded wiring including headlight has been removed and headlight cover has been blacked out with vinyl. i removed over a pound of wiring not including headlight.
terry cable thumb throttle
tag alum. handlebars
screw on type race gas lid to prevent leaking common on earlier models.
custom radiator shield.
cycra stealth hand shields
LTR alum. water pump impeller.
new race clutch/springs from dover race ready cycle.
computer remapped
removed lock on seat and replaced with pin type fastener.
exhaust has been moved up to prevent from bottoming on axle.
i have a new Rossier Exhaust for a Z400 that will fit this quad with a little modification that i will sell with it if you want it. or i will take $375 for exhaust by itself.
asking $7800 for all
$7500 without new exhaust or possible trade for crf450.
i have raced against every new quad out and this bike will run with all of them.
