i am in need of some a-arm bushings on my 2000 400ex. My question is should i just get the bushings and not the seals? I also need the lower steering bushing and my questino is just the bearing or bearing and seals? Would service honda be a good place to get these?

i dont know about where you live but where i live we use a store in town for bearings and seals called bearrings unlimited .
you have to bring them the old bearrings and they mic them out.
can usually get stronger bearings for a portion of the cost of a dealer or the factory.
so if you have a bearring or industriel supply house in your area give them a shot.
they can usually save time also.
ive had very good luck with the one around here .
just a thaught

Check out www.atvbushings.com. I have a set on my 99 400EX. They are urethane bushings that are greasable and a lot cheaper than stock replacements.

You should always replace the bearings and seals at the sametime. PivotWorks makes nice little kits with everything you need included for much cheaper than OEM.
