Axis shock spring ?'s

I have a set of Axis shocks (front and rear) with Hyperco springs. The shocks are 3 years old, and the springs seem sacked out (taken a set). When new, the front springs from full pre-load to no preload would expand 1", now they expand 1/4". How long are springs suppose to last? Would titanium springs last longer or be worth the added price?

Has it been 3 years since they have been serviced then? If so, then that is your problem.

No, I sent them in during April of this year. They replaced the oil, seals, and o-rings.

How much preload are you running? Are the shocks different than when you sent them in to be serviced? How much Rebound are you running? Some of the seals they use don't let the shock return all the way when the bike is just setting there, but has no effect when you are riding. Are the shocks working fine for you or are you having problems?
