does anyone know if they make a hood for a 400ex i've been looking and cant find them

I don't think so, but i'm not sure. I hear 250r hoods fit with no problems. I put a 250r hood on my 300. Pretty sure it would fit a 400 too.

i have a 250r hood on my 400 jsut have to cut the headlight part out and rivit the hood on and find a new home for ur key ill get some pics tomorrow
