400ex carb on 300ex jetting

I just got a 400ex carb off of Ebay for my '01 300ex. My question is do you jet it just like if it was on a 400 or is the jetting lower because it doesn't require as much fuel? or what? Please help me with a place to start. I know you can't tell me exactly what to use, but a ballpark figure would help. Thanks for any suggestions.

Anyone? Should I just start with the 400ex jetting and work my way down? Would it hurt if it is way too rich?

it wont hurt it to be too rich. Just take the jets out of your 300 carn and put them in your 400 carb, then go from there..
