Well most of my friends have got into xr 50's and one of them has a nice track at his house and all the others come and ride there all the time. This is my problem they ride there 50's all the time and not there real dirt bikes so it basically leaves me with one person to ride with. So over the last couple of days I have been helping them build there track and watching them ride has really made me want to get a mini quad since I don't really like riding xr's and it would be different. I would still ride my Z-400 all the time but I would also beable to ride with them. So does this even sound possible/reasonable for a 140lb pound 16yr old to have mini? Im just looking to ride wheelies and monkey around on there track that has jumps that just bottom out there pretty stock 50's suspension. This would be on a maxium budget of say 2500-3000 (probally much less though) dollars for the quad and motor, supsension, and other mods.

Thanks for your help

i got a 1999 trx 90 for my brother for 500 bucks. it was sitting outside for 2 years, we cleaned the carb, got a new plug, changed the oil and put new gas in and it ran like brand new. im about 125-130 pounds and it pulls fine. 2nd and 3rd gear wheelies pull up by standing on the seat and you can go forever in 1st. sometimes i have more fun messing with his 90 then i do with the 400 because its so much smaller and easier to get around without a hassle everywhere

id say look around for a used 90 quad

I have a Polaris 90 I bought for my kids. I have as much fun on it as I do my 300. I weigh close to 200 and it hauls me around just fine. If you weight very much you'll want to upgrade a few things though. I say go for it. They're a blast.

LOL. I told my wife recently after playing on our 90's that we should've got a pair for ourselves and built the crap out of em. :eek2:

But wouldn't the rain just make em slide better:bandit: I saw your post on the TT racing. Looks like a good time. You'll have to try to come up my way to the Orrville race next spring.
