well im looking at getting another quad, and looking through the want ads, there are a good assorment of banshees there...some for the price im looking to spend...and of course if i get one...man two stroke power...ooo sorry for getting off track but anyway what do you think?mostly trails and yes i know how to work the clutch,i've ridden one way back when wen i sucked at clutch and didn't like it,but i was scared to go past 3rd,lol...anyway any input?right now im leaning more towards a 250r,or 400ex more to the R side, but considering a banshee,of course this thing will have many more aftermarket parts on it then my 300,so i need a good narly *** quad, thanks

There are tons in your price range? It sounds like everyone is trying to unload them.

It would be cool to have one at the dunes though to just go up and down the mountian. Not to far away from camp though ya don't want to be stranded.

Get a 4 stroke.

i had a banshee back in the day but if i had to do it over again id get a 250r which is much better in the handling dept.

im going to upgrade the suspension anyway....so any diffrent input now?...i was checking out dirtwheels and they had a pic for a helmet in there and the guy was riding a banshee, with some sweet *** looking duncan fatboy 4 pipes with turndown outlets....that chit was the chit, but i would want straight outlets instead...but i want a two stroke,i want to expierence the riding of one as well:rolleyes: lol

Don't let anyone knock the Banshee - it's an awesome, awesome quad. Best fun-factor out of all of them, for sure!! I loved my Shee.....and it's GOOD to learn to ride a two-stroke, makes you a much better 4stroke rider in the end! :) Dang....I miss that seat, too........ (rubbing sore buns)

only my $.02
unless your riding in a generally flat area get the 250r
but if a banshee is what you want then get it
ive got plenty of time on a banshee and in the woods and chit they just cant keep up.well they can keep up but its just not as safe
you really have to be careful in the woods with a banshee

bam she hit the nail on the head there dont let anyone knock the banshee people say unrealiable with my experence with banshees its the complete opposite the most reliable quad ive rode in the woods take a little bit more effort but you get used to it the hit of the power is on and off like a light switch tho get used to it before doing alot of woods riding

My Banshee was always jetted to perfection - nothing quite like that......I never messed with the motor, so I never had any reliabity issues, either. Just pipes, filter, jet kit......YUMMY!!!!

The thing I always had to fight with in a race was excessive wheel spin......that always slowed me down.....
