My clutch broke all apart even the plates in my LT500 and I looked at my oil and it was gray with silver chunks in it. It now has a new clutch and I've changed my oil after riding about 10 times now and it is still gray with silver chunks. I noticed a weird noise close to full throttle. The guy I brought it to cleaned out the clutch side of the engine. Could have the chunks of the clutch got to other parts of the engine like the top end? I was riding yesterday and I heard the noise get worse and it sounded like a clunking noise. When you try to kick start it you can hear it. Also the guy replaced the reeds because they were broke apart, could that have caused damage or would they just disinegrate?

does it still run good and noise getting worse or does it run worse and noise getting worse?

it has became so bad that i'm not running it no more, major clunking when you try to kick start it, but the spark plug looks perfect and I run Sunoco 110 with Blendzall 32:1, and it hasn't been that long since the rebuild and I don't ride it all the time

Your bottom end bearings are probly clogged up with junk. And need replaced.

the cases need to be split and the whole lower end cleaned out

thanks for the info, at least the possibility of it being in the jug is somewhat out of the picture
