I asked this question a while ago but did'nt really get the answer I was looking for. Does anybody own a K&N Powerlid and if so is it worth the money?? My main concern is it getting covered in mud during a ride and clogging up. I took my airbox lid off about a month ago and I'm very pleased with the power gains, just getting sick of avoiding water all the time. I need to get something to cover it soon. Any opinion is appreciated. Thanks!

honestly instead of spendin $100 on the lid....just get those lil vents from UNI...you may not gain as much but i doubt they would clog as easy...maybe they would....thats JMO...ive never used the product...maybe im wrong idk lol:macho

Oh no. I live in Canada. Try like $155.00 plus shipping and taxes, it'd be closer to $200.00 all said and done. Thats why I'm very hesitant. Surely somebody owns one of these things??

They are 100% rip-off! Just get an outerwears air box lid cover, they are water resistant, and are like $20 American, you do the math to convert to Canadian.

here you go:

this one is a PDF from WB ;)
White Bros ATV Intake Catalog (http://www.whitebros.com/04catalog/ATVIntake.pdf)

and this a link to the official site:
K&N Powerlid (http://www.knfilterchargers.com/search/product.aspx?Prod=SU-4002-T)

.. back to the point.. I'll be getting those UNI Filtered Air Vents, they look more safe, I don't want my carb to be getting any dirt ..
I haven't tried the underwears, but from what I've read, it's a good choice ;)

I would suggest a lid from EHS.

I got a pre filter for the k&n I used to run. Think I'll hack that apart and see if I cant rig somethin' up myself, save $200.
