what is the advantage of +3 a arms for mx instead of +2 other than being wider obviously?

I beleive the +3 will get you closer to the magic 50inch wide front end

+3 is where its at if you ride MX or tracks. If you do a mix of tracks and woods too on the side, then go +2. +3 front ends corner like they are on a set of rails, but its too wide for most trails (except open fire roads!!).
