how much better are the longtravel a-arms for the 16in. shocks, then the std.travel a-arms with a 16in shock? how much more travel do you get out of them?

u don't get any more travel.... they just have a better ball joint
Please correct me if I am wrong but don't aftermarket shocks (at least some of them) have a little more shaft travel that the stock shocks don't have????? I know with stock a-arms and the works pro series I had the shock would not extend all the out before a-arms ball joints would cause them to stop. with the long travel it would let them extend out the extra 1/2 inche or so. Giving you just a little but not much more travel?

yeah it may give u a tiny bit more travel bc the ball joints have more range but it won't really help...
even on a TRUE long travel shock its not the extra lil bit of travel... its the extra room for valving...
Look at it this way the difference is so small that houser thought there is no reason to sell them anymore and quit making them!
