i blew my 250ex engine and its gunna be over $1000 to fix so im tryin to buy just a whole new engine if anyones got one please post.... thanks!

my friend was helping me change my oil and he forgot to put a new washer on the oil drain plug so when he put the oil in it dripped so he thought it wasnt tight and he over tightened it and put a hairline fracture in the engine case along where the washer sits... it did'nt effect the performance of the engine but it dripped a little bit and one time about a month ago i went out before checking the oil and as i was riding... so basically i ran it with no oil and i tore it down and everything is fried and i cant fix it myself and a mechanic quoted me at around 1800 with labor so im either going to drop a whole engine in or part it out if i cant find one :(

i got a motor, but its in a frame, ill take $2100 right now with a few aftermarket goodies.:D

brain ill take just the motor for a 1000....??? and 400ex guy ill take $2000obo for the whole quad it has lots of aftermerket parts... let me know... thanks guys

Nah I cant pay $2 G's for a 250EX with no motor..I can buy one with an engine for the same price or maybe $500 more. How much w/out any aftermarket stuff..I dont care if it is stock or not..Thanks

I dont have some of the replacement stock parts is the thing... like the exhaust but you can give me a price and ill put as much stock parts back on as i can???

I could part out and make around 1500 man 500 just isnt gunna cut it let me know if you are still interested the lowest i can go is prolly 1250

No Thanks..Like I said I can buy a 250ex running for anywhere from $2000-$2500. If I bought yours for $1250 and then have to buy an engine I would spend more than what I could buy a complete one for..Thanks anyways and good with with selling of getting your engine..Thanks

Well I would just rebuilt it if I was you, but if I had a buy an entire engine the easiest (NOT THE CHEAPEST) way to go would be through Honda..Rebuilding it would be easy and cheap..Thats what I would do if I was you..Send it to me..I will entirely rebuild it for you for a good price..
