no one makes lt for a 300ex, you can use a 400ex mounting bracket and custom lenght shock with std travel 300ex a-arms tho, GREAT set up

Boy you just like to put your foot in your mouth don't you? Take a look at Dave McCarol's(sp) setup from team Quadshop. Mine is modeled after his. He just happens to have won many races with this setup. Maybe you should consider educating yourself on the subject before posting.

Sheesh! some people will never get it!

Ghak99 Here's mine, brand new triple elka's, new +2+1 burgards and custom relocator. 9-10'' of travel. This works great, sad but true I will be parting it out for sale. PM me if interested.

I already know of one company who is making +3+1 long travels, but they are unproven and still working on their design before selling them to everyone.

I currently run 16" axis shocks with a custom frame that has the shock mounts moved in order to run the 400ex/250r designed shocks.

I am actually looking for +3+1's and already have axis shocks, but I know someone who is looking for a setup like yours, how much are you looking to get for it?

I made a custom bracket that bolts onto the top of the relocator and has adjustable rubber snubbers, again works great!;)

dave has ben racing longer than most of us have been alive and has ridden just about everything. he says his 300ex w/ plus 2 a-arms a mounting bracket like redrunners and tripple rate elkas handles BETTER thanhis 400ex w/ stock a-arms and dual rate axis shocks

Andrew **** (ab****) of **** Tech racing can fabricate some out of stock 400ex a-arms, he modifies them to fit the 300ex and use 16" shocks on the stock mounts...send him a PM

I belive Brandon Shipman (Youth Production racer) uses Gibson 400ex LT a-arms and standard 16" 400ex shocks, its very very sweet...nicest 300ex front end ive ever seen or felt....it has ALOT of travel too

same here man....I have 400ex +2+1 arms and custom length TCS shocks for the conversion, and 400ex spindles. The steering is just like my old Laeger 300ex set-up and this has more travel and just better suspension all around.

OK not to argue with ya but, this^^^ is what you stated as an issue, 300exoh's is a proven geometry. It closer replicates the "Honda design" that was done by professional engineers. Feel free to run what you want just don't go around flaming "retarted" set ups until you get all the facts!

The BEST front end Setup for a 250x/300ex frame is +2 400ex LT a-arms with the shock relocation bracket. This will act exactly like a 400ex with +3 LT setup. Can't get better than that.
