how many r's does the stock 400ex CDI put out b4 it starts to cut out

If my memory is correct, it's approximately 9100 RPM.

cuz i jsut got a new rev box and it up the rev limiter to 11K until it cuts out...i was jsut trying to do some math

i am pretty sure stock is 9,300 and most aftermarket cdi's usually go to 10,300 and some go higher

9300 sounds a little high, but that might be right. my r hit 9800 on the dyno and i heard that it was rev limiter around 1000 higher than the 400. but maybe not. i could be wrong.:confused:
