is drilling out your head pipe really worth it does it aded any power
and does riding without an airfilter lid hurt anything if its not muddy, dusty, or wet

From what I've seen, every head pipe is a little different, the welds are more restrictive in some than others. When I ground mine out, I could feel a little better throttle response, and my welds looked pretty large in there. Either way it's not gonna hurt, and only takes an hour or so to do.

Riding without the lid wont hurt anything at all regardless of condititions, unless you are running fast through water or through pretty deep water.

how do you drill outt the head pipe?

u take the head pipe off and at the begging of it is a ridge its the weld
u just grind that of with some rotary tool

Yeah, when I put my new header on last night, I noticed the HUGE welds in the stock on, they had to be like 0.20" tall,

The LRD pipe has no such thing, ooo yea it roars. :)
