suspension

just got back from the mx track now, and man the stock suspension on my trx 450 r is night and day away from my crf 450 mx bike, i got some serious trouble in the whoops and the bumpy parts of the track.
I am a mx motocross rider to the core, but wanted to try some alternative training on the side, and atv racing just seemed cool, but the suspension is really bad, what do i need to get better overall handling on this trx???

get some 18 inch rear mx tires and 20 inch front mx tires.....

and adjust the preload on the shocks to the softest setting to lower the quad.....and try increasing dampening a tad.

on mine had to slow the rebound in the rear alot because it was way too fast .
