What do you all think I should get, a 440ex or a 450r? The 440ex is a 2000 and is going for about $3500 with these mods: White Bros R4 full stainless pipe, Honda Race Cam, IMS 440 big bore kit, New top end w/ 2 rides on it, White Bros CDI rev limiter, jetted, K&N air filter, Durablue 2+2 axle, front gear down 1 tooth (Renthal), Factory Effex graphics kit, Renthal handlebars, Armadillo swingarm skid plate, new ITP Holeshot rear tires. I figure the only major thing I would have left to do is suspension. So with the suspension I'd be into it about $4500. So what do you think? The 450r or the 440? Will this 440ex after suspension be as good as a 450r for sand and motorcross? Thanks for the input.

450R DEFINETLY man i mean without a doubt, first of all, dealing with a used quad can sometimes be a pain because you don't know the history of it, also the 450r will be all around better....just trust me on this one and get the 450r.

That's definately the way I'm leaning. I understand that the 450r would be upgradable (is that a word?) where as the 440 would probably be about "tapped out" as far as potential goes. Is that right? But would the 440 be comparable to a stock 450r? A couple thousand dollars is quite a bit of price difference. I could buy my 7 year old a bike for that.
