oh, they are definately not happy that tim didn't get them their first win. i say they come out with a gncc team next year. thats where they should be and i don't know what they are waiting for. no ricky or bubba next year, the alessi's are signing with ktm, jones and gust on suzuki. tim farr not doing as good as expected. balance and duvall on yamaha. HOW ABOUT CHRIS BORICH AND SOMEONE ELSE ON TEAM HONDA, WHAT ARE THEY WAITING FOR.

Tim would probably do better if he weren't sponsored by Honda. Let's be honest, Tim's factory sponsorship is in name only. Honda demands results, sets the rules by which their riders function but then don't offer them any real support at the track. Where's the Honda semi at the GNC's helping Tim? Where are the factory engineers gathering data and helping set up Tim's quad? Oh wait, there aren't any:rolleyes: They don't want to go track side every weekend and help develop the team but they sure can sit back and tell Tim what he can't do.

i couldnt of said it better myself but right now the suzkui is the team to be on the amount of research time and money they have spent for doug is unbelivable

next season they should have plenty off semi's to help tim, they have nothing else going on

I talked to Tim this afternoon & got his autograph & you could tell he was upset....all he has is the Baldwin trailer it looke dlike & a few of the mechanics to help them. I also spoke with Doug Gust & congratulated him & talked to a few of his mechanics & it is unbelievable the setup he has. What a perfect weekend to race.

i also talked to kory ellis & he blew a head gasket & got a DNF that second round..he didnt do well in the first round either..

That's why Mcgrath left honda. And a certain other rider that does well on a cr450f would rather not be full factory.He'd rather just get the bikes parts ect. Now they lost Ricky too, and I know they would have matched suzuki's offer. Maybe the people at team honda need to lighten up........................

It was a great weekend for racing! The weather was a welcomed site for August at Loretta's:) Joe looked fast on Friday amd I knew he would be in the hunt. Jeremiah had a heck of a ride after bad starts in both motos to finish 3rd:) GREAT JOB JOE!

The weather was great compared to previous years. Byrd was on a mission and deserved his win, congrats. I heard rumors that Farr's shoulder was giving him trouble. I never saw Farr wave Gust around but I need see Natalie wave Gust by in the second moto. I was really impressed by Natalie's speed/conditioning this year. I really hope he continues to progress. Jones looked inspired in both motos coming from the mid to back of the pack to the top 5 in each.

Did anyone else see, I believe it was in Fourstroke C or Production C, the guy on a blue yfz nose by the start finish line?

Oh yeah, Harlen congrats on winning the cash drawing! $350 will help cover some expenses.

Ok, I will play devil's advocate.

True Honda is known/rumored to be very very demand in results. What do you mean by "function"? I don't see anything different in Tim's pit from last year except the tape around it. I guess my question is how is Honda controlling Tim? He rode in the stadium cross(won), he still races MX & TT(leading in points) and he still takes time to sign autographs for all his fans. Why mess with an already successful team? In the past Tim has won and has chemistry with Baldwin and Merridan in his pits. True I would have liked to see four, five or six factory Honda guys in his pits but that doesn't mean he would have finished any better.

I think Honda may have underestimated Suzuki and are paying for it now or possibly as I previously stated they didn't want to disturb the chemistry. I don't know their thinking. It could be Tim wouldn't sign the deal without Baldwin in charge. I can respect this as well.

Like I said just playing devil's advocate here not attacking. I give Gust and Suzuki a big congrats on their Championship and taking a leap back into factory sponsorship. I only expect good things to come from the factory deals at least for a few years!

I think I know what your talking about and I don't think that was a wave to let him pass, just before that gust bumped farr, I think that was a pissed off hand gesture

byrd was really fast, he just cant do it at any other track...
