I am also interested in some info on the YFZ big bores????

I have read some great info from Laz at GT Thunder, and I thought I saw somewhere that Ballance had a 470GTThunder engine????? Can anyone else offer any info on this...

Wow, when I first started ridin the YFZ I thought theres no way anyone would ever need to do anything to the engine!!!!! Now that I got quite a bit of time on it, and getting used to it, it could use a lil more power....

a few members on yfzcentral have the 470 kit, sounds like its good. but for all you people who run the 4 stroke classes i'd get the 450 dirt bike head. My friends got it and it hauls balls, but i'm not sure what else he had to do to make it work. hes got so many mods (20grand worth) I cant keep track anymore :eek2:

I have a 98 mm je 12-5-1 big bore on my yfz and think it was one of the best improvments yet. The kit was 500 shipped from fst. I had it in back togher in one week(he had a bored cylinder in stock:D ) I would go with a cp piston if you are serious about reliability because i think it is a better part.
