Well i just got this last night i was looking for photoshop on a search place that some one gave me. Then i clicked the thing for photo shop and all i got was porn then my antivirus poped up and said i am at high risk. Then got that stuff out of the way and click for my homepage. All i got was about:black and it had a search pop up. I dleted cookies, tryed to change it back, searched for the thing on my computer and can't find it,and then tryed with my macfee antispyware. It found it and got rid of it. It just keeps coming back its called adult links and shows as adaware.

I had this problem once befor and i know there a painb in the but to get rid. Last time i had to reformat and i don't want to do that again. Theres so much stull to reinstalled and get back. I hope some knows an easy way to get rid of this.

I wish all I had to do was turn it off and back on again to get it all to go away...

Sometimes you have to reformat, it is a good nights worth of work, but you gotta do what you gotta do. Next time use a firewall, and software that watches for that stuff, like adwatch, etc.

Its spyware, and some spyware searchers can't find every bit of spyware. Sometimes you have to reformat your whole computer. :eek2:

you can avoid most of this. Set up multiple users on your pc. Make one for just surfing the net/porn!!!!/whatever. Restrict that user so it is not an administrator. Then a lot of spyware can't install on your pc because the user does not have the right to install software. I use this and I hardly ever get any spyware. It got so bad before I started surfing like this that I wanted to pull my hair out. Now I do that, and run spybot and adaware once a week and I am fine. I swear, you guys will have no more problems if you do this. Just my $.02

Get a program called CWS Shredder. It removes those bugs that continually re-set your homepage.

I had the same problem for a month. Adaware 6.0 and HijackThis was the only thing that got rid of the problem for me. I'm running windows XP on a dell laptop.
