One of my friends wants to trade me his 2002 Cannondale for my 2002 400ex. Should i do it, i was there the day he bought it and been there every time he has riddin it so i know it has been takin good care of.

Whats your friend smoking? I may be wrong but I don't think anyone would want to trade a good cannondale for an EX. If it's a good bike take it.

I hope nothing ever breaks on that C'dale. They went out of business and some one else bought them so mabe you should keep the 400. C'dales are nice but will be a pain to mantain.

all im going too say is im trying to sell a 400ex right now and i had about 4 people say they would trade me a cannondale for it. i have had no other offer for trades other then people with cannondales. what that means i don't know, but it's interesting

They are probably just ignorant and think that if anything breaks, they will not be able to get a replacement. Most likely know nothing about ATK having all the parts they need.

I'd trade my EX for a C-Dale ANYDAY.

go for the dale, if you are worried about parts, i here is a case that just happened, my buddies 03 cannibal LE broke a intake valve last sunday, he pulled it out and brought it to me monday, tore it down, new head, piston, sleave, the engine was complete on wed. night, it was out running today, better than ever. parts are not a problem, the technology is way a head of your 400ex, have fun on the dale!
