I can kick mine over usually in two kicks sitting down. I dont know why you cant kick it over. Its very easy.

its very very easy......i can do it sitting down.

i guess its easy to me because my old 265R once had compression of around 220 psi....so that was alot harder to kick:devil:

it was harder at first than it is now......once you get it broke in it is very easy.....first or second kick everytime....hot or cold

is this your first time kicking it over?

if so you would just need to get the "technique" down

but im not sure why you say its hard, because its mad easy:blah:

wicked easy now but when i first bought it it was the first time every kick starting took me 5 or 8 kicks a bit frustrating

when its cold full choke plus 1/8 of gas
when is warm no choke and the hotstart

I'm only 135lbs, and I can start mine sitting on the seat. After the motor gets broke in, and you bruise your shins a few times, you'll be starting it like a pro.

to tell you the truth a lot of my lighter friends have trouble with it and people who don't know how to kick it. The trick is to put it out and let it go to the top of the stroke, then put it down till u feel a real hard spot, then let the kicker all the way back up, then just balance on it with your one foot, and then jump on it. Hope that helps.

EDIT-shocker, once u've been riding for a while and you're tired, its kinda hard, but when you're just sitting there and haven't gone riding, just pulling in the hot start and kicking it makes it a breeze.

I will have to try that I guess, Colby get so frustrated with me when I kick my 450 "kick it like a man" he yells:( and I am kicking it as hard as I can I guess I am going to have to build bigger legs because this 115lbs isn't getting the job done all the time.

I think theres a lot to do with technique.

If i get on a 4 stroke dirtbike that kicks backwards, I can barely do it. But im used to kicking forward from old 3 wheelers. Compared to my old 350x the 450r is extremely easy to kick over.

But compared to stock banshees that i can kick over with my hand, yes its a lot harder to kick.

I've noticed many newer riders will kick using the part of their foot that is right in front of their heal. Physics being what it is you figure out that if you kick with the ball of your foot instead it is easier to push down.(your ankle is a fulcrum point and this moves it further from the kickstarter giving you some extra leverage) Just my two cents.
