ok, i did everything by my CLYMER manual installed the whole kit, friction pads, metals, and springs i torqued the screws to 9ft lbs. filled her w/ oil twice. like my dealer told me, but now after 10 mins of riding when i clutch it wants to pull so much that i have to start it in neutral and when i put it in gear holding the clutch in, it jumps like the cluth wont engage

i talked to my cousin and he says ur supposed to torque to 7ft.lbs.
will this fix my prob?

Try adjusting the clutch. All you have to do is hand tighten the screws. The springs keep them from backing out.

yeah, how much play do you have in the lever?

If you are using the stock basket and hub you need to be careful since they are cast aluminum. They will not take much to break. 7 ft/lbs is the torque for them. But if you have it all togather I say you need to adjust the clutch lever to fix your problem.

it will tell you in teh manual how much play needs to be in the lever. make sure there is a little bit.
