carb help???????????????

I NEED HELP. I HAVE A 250X WITH A 300EX CARB ON IT

THE TROUBLE IS WHEN I'M DOING WHEELIES EVERY TIME I PULL
UP WHEELIES.I HAVE GAS DUMPING OUT OF THE OVERFLOW

AND I'VE SEEN ALOT
OF 300 EX DO WHEELIES ALL DAY LONG AND
NOT DUMP ANY GAS OUT SO WAYS IS MY DOING IT

sounds like flot is stuck or set to high.
try tapping it wiyh something to see if it stops.
if it doesnt then you need to clean it

it only when riding a wheelie. it fine any other time?????????????????

so i don't think it's the float

most or all bikes will poor gas out the overflow when riding wheelies...its tatallly normal dont worry about it:)

dripping is normal. a slight stream is a bit much. i know the 99's and 00's has this problem. they revised the float pin and maybe even another part in the 400ex carb in 01 to fix this problem. what year carb do you have?

sorry, i thought you said a 400ex carb. i don't know much about the 300's carb.

i agree, the float may be stuck. i would take the whole carb apart and clean it.
