Anyone have it????? I ordered the Chrome piece,but in the pic its hard to see what it looks like ......Anyone have a pic???

I have one and its just chrome-looks like good chrome, too.

the chrome looks good.....BUT.... It wont last long....:( I bet one ride and its scratched all to he!!.....:grr: I dont know what I was expecting, but it wasnt this plastic stuff...... BUT..I LOVE THE plastic that came!!! This color ROCKS!!!:blah: :cool:

It lasts longer than you would think...just be careful with it like you would anything else thats chrome and you should be fine.

Ok so here is the question... Would you order it again..? I ordered some White Fullbores for my 400 but can't decide if I should buy the tank cover. My graphics have some chrome on them so it would match...

and your type of riding is much different from the standard trail riders or racers. I could see dirt/mud/sand scratching the crap out of that finish....

Would about spraying it with some clear coat then buffing out the scratches as they appear? Might be more work than it's worth......

You wouldnt buy a chrome tank cover for something taht is going to be seeing that much mud...and they hold up great in the sand. I spilled VP Ultimate 4 on mine many times and it hasnt hurt it yet.

WEll now that is good news!! :) It will be seeing alot of mud with MX racing :) Oh well, enjoy it while we can :D

Sand +chrome is NOT a horrible mix. The sand really isn't that bad to chrome. Dirt would be a lot worse because of the little rocks in the dirt hitting the chrome.
