What quad should i get now?

Ok as most of you know im parting out my quad,the 450r an d yfz 450 are out of the question so don't even say one of them,lol....but right now im stuck between choices...anyone want to lend me a hand?im mostly shootin for a 400,i found a nice one from what the guy says like 15 mins from me,it a 2000 with "extras" its says for 3000 OBO.....im going to offer him 2500 in fresh 100's and see if he takes it,think that is good?thanks any help would be narly

i assume its a 400ex decent quad
a z400 is better though

you wont go wrong with a Z or a 400ex in decent condition.

when buying any used 400ex, be sure to ask if the swing arm bolt has ever been removed and lubed. the answer will probably be no but then you will know you have a job in front of you:p

the Z400 is pretty bullet proof with exception of the frame. check it over really good for cracks and give the front end a close look. also be sure to test the reverse feature out as they have been know to have issues but nothing too bad.

yea MY450r it is a 400,idk,i just might end up saving this money for a car,:( no other choice with my mom,but yea i can't ride the ozark,i need clutch and speed:p

the gay stator went,and after that i had enough of it,and told my dad im selling it,so yea he went along with it....it was for the better though....if i fixed the 300 again,and something else went wrong i would have pushed that thing down a steep *** hill,lol

I believe he meant what brand is it, Honda, Suzuki, etc? Being that we're on a Honda site, you are probably referring to a 400EX. I have heard great things about the Z's though.
