2003 400ex For sale

Full LRD Pro 4 exhaust, Wiseco 10.5:1 440 big bore, Hotcams stage 2 camshaft, 38mm lectron carb, high cap oil tank, aux oil cooler (not installed yet) Pro armor nerfs, Dg bumper, Douglas wheels, Holeshot XCR front tires, Razr rears, Wheel spacers, Skid plates, Well maintained, Runs better than new, Very little use after engine work. Much invested in the engine, put back together only 3 weeks ago, very little time on the new top end. I just dropped close to a grand getting the 400ex built up, results were satisfying, Now i can move on. If you upgrade the front suspension, quad is capable of being raced competitively. whats it got? i was planning on getting either a new cr250 or finding a used crf450r after i sell my quad. It might be sorta small for me, but those yz125's got some balls.

if u didnt know the yz is the biggest mx bike. my 125 is bigger than both the cr250 and crf450r.. its got bout $800 in mods

Small meant engine displacement, all Yz's except for the 80 are pretty much the same physical size.

Any offers? Please anyone with interest make an offer. I did not put a price on it because its worth alot to me and i just put alot of hard earned money into it. I can honestly say that i have never beat on or abused the quad in any way. The quad was far from needing a rebuild when I did the work to it. The truth is, i bought the camshaft and it did not work well at all with the stock engine, so i decided to finish up the rest of the engine as well. The quad, since the time of purchase probably hasnt anything higher than 4th gear more than 30 times in its life. It has always been run using synthetic, except during break in. The 440 has no more that 20 hrs on it, maybe 25 after this weekend. So, please make me a good offer. The only reason im selling it is because the trails i ride suck for quads and im tired of riding slowly and being stuck in the roost of my friends.

Anyone? I need to sell it to get a bike. I am only looking for about 3800 OBO, which isnt much considering what i have put into it. I have spent over 1200$ on the engine and possibly 800$ or more on other aftermarket parts for it. Thats alot, those who are considering doing a 440, this is a great deal, all the work has been done and paid for. I still have a few of the stock parts which will be included with the sale, such as exhaust, carb and cam, oil cooler, sprockets, tires and rims. All these parts can be swapped out and the aftermarket parts can be parted out. You can make more than grand selling just some of the parts I put on and still have a perfectly functional 400ex, to either keep or sell. I would part the quad out, but i hate to see it get broken up and im just too lazy. So someone please make me an offer.
